Product Description

2-Methoxyethanol  is Colorless transparent liquid with pleasant odor. Miscible with water, ethanol, ether, glycerol, acetone, N, N-dimethylformamide. It is used as coating solvent, penetrant, levelling agent and intermediate of organic synthesis, and also used as additive of jet fuel.

1. 2-Methoxyethanol is mainly used as a solvent for fats, nitrocellulose, synthetic resins, alcohol soluble dyes, and ethyl cellulose;
2. Used in the paint industry as a quick drying agent for varnish and a coating thinner;
3. Used as a penetrating agent and leveling agent in the printing and dyeing industry;
4. Used as an additive in the fuel industry;
