Application Area

Reaction with diols to form linear polyurethane (polyurethane) resin. It can be used to make synthetic fibers, foam plastics, rubber, coatings and adhesives.

The dimer is a vulcanizing agent for mixed polyurethane rubber. In addition to being used alone, it can also be used in 80:20 and 65:35 mixtures with 2, 6-toluene diisocyanate for the production of hard and soft polyurethane foams.
