Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a sulfur-containing organic compound, the molecular formula is (CH3)2SO, at room temperature is colorless odorless transparent liquid, is a hygroscopic flammable liquid. DMSO can be used as lubricant, solvent extractant, resin solvent and additive for industrial purposes.
