Application

Diethanolamine is an important corrosion inhibitor used in boiler water treatment, automotive engine coolant, drilling and cutting oils, and various other lubricants.

It is also used in naturalgas as an absorber for purifying acidic gases.

It is used as an emulsifier in various cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

In the textile industry as a lubricant, can also be used as wetting agent and softener and other organic synthetic raw materials.
