Its vapor and air form an explosive mixture, which causes combustion and explosion in case of open fire and high heat energy. Can react strongly with oxidizing agents. In case of high heat, the pressure inside the container increases, and there is a risk of cracking and explosion. Dissolve certain plastics, resins and rubbers.
